Saint Scholastica Wood Panel Print

This image was designed by the monks of Silverstream. The text behind St Scholastica is taken from St Gregory the Great's biography of St Benedict. When St Scholastica prays that she might spend the whole night in holy conversation with her brother, knowing that it will be their last conversation before she dies, her prayer causes storm to break out and prevent St Benedict from returning to his monastery.
