Ernest Lelièvre (1826-1889), was a French priest who helped the Little Sisters of the Poor in many of their foundations. He travelled the world, giving assistance, material and spiritual, to the Little Sisters and their foundations. Born into a noble family, Fr. Lelièvre donated both his time, energy, and patrimony to the work of the Little Sisters. He helped them obtain canonical approval from Rome.
His cause for canonization was recently introduced.
