Gothic Stairs Card

This card is almost abstract….the murky stairs which lead to…what? Perhaps this would be a good card for a quiet, thoughtful note, one to be read by a window on a clear autumn afternoon. Its grey-green tones suggest a timeless stillness which begs for the whisper of poetry.

This blank greeting card is made with easily writable 300 gsm uncoated paper. The card features an image of gothic stairs in St Elisabeth Cathedral, Košice, Slovakia, which is a faithful reproduction of a silver gelatine print made by an oblate of our monastery. The card measures 105 x 148 mm (A6 size) and comes with a matching white envelope.
